Unlike with the BBC, I respect Sky have the right to be biased. You don't like, you don't pay but the coverage during Super Sunday was an absolute disgrace. Sky are the embodiment of everything that's wrong with modern football and modern football fans but that's for another day. We all know Sky and Newscorp are pro-United but pre-empting the Super Sunday clash as "Payback" already shows a clear bias and allegiance to both away teams. That's the sort of bias I'd expect on my Chelsea Season Review or Chelsea TV. Firstly, the 1st goal. I'm in full agreement it was a foul and was a game changer. Sky went way OTT but hey-ho. I'm sure if Arsenal had scored from the free kick when Jenkinson dived at the Emirates they'd have had no complaints, but the anti-Chelsea bias seemingly knows no bounds. Also little was said of Arsenal's goal, they showed one replay and dismissed it as a non-entity. The challenge on Torres 9/10 would have been given as a foul. The biggest issue I have though is with the penalty and the defamatory comments aimed at Ramires. The insinuation that Ramires dived is not only laughable and pathetic but also impossible to prove, I can't envisage a situation whereby an English or United player goes down and they aren't hollering for a penalty. Sczesney's reaction said it all and he has even admitted it was a foul. Ramires isn't a diver, he's a hard working and industrious player and for Redknapp/Neville to publicly poison him as they have done isn't on in my view. Welbeck, Valencia and Rooney (all Man U players) are "looking to win penalties" all the time yet it's Ramires that gets scapegoated. As for the Spurs game again the commentary was unbelievably biased and topped off when a United player was given MOTM despite once again United being on the backfoot for the majority of the match. There were some unbelievable Spurs performances and average United ones at best. Quinn should also never do commentary again, his Arsenal allegiance clear through out. You'd have thought Arsenal had won the game at the full time whistle the way he was raving about them, anyone can play 2-0 away from home with nothing to lose. The Arsenal players shouldn't be praised for showing a bit of stomach in a derby after a toothless first half display, that isn't iron cross worthy. Love Chelsea, Hate Football, Detest Sky
good post district and a very good point about ramires dive, sczesney's reaction certainly said it all. For me it just makes it all the more sweeter when their little favs drop points
Spot on. Do Sky really think Szcesney would not have protested if no contact was made? Not one protest was made by any Arsenal player but all of a sudden Sky decide its a dive and all the sheep believe them. Arsenal nearly scored from a free kick after a blatant Jenkinson dive at the Emirates and nothing is said.
I don't think they are necessarily pro-United per se but without a doubt are pro the biggest clubs. As with all these things, it firstly pays to highlight and analyse controversy and go over the top with it to fill time and engage your average Sky viewer- a middle-aged bloke who wouldn't dream of going to the game. As for Ramires, it was a penalty undoubtedly but also clever play in my opinion. He knew what he was doing but it's not a dive for me.
Yep,had he not been fouled he knew he was going to ****ing score. Don't think your 'biggest' club remark was up tyour normal have a dig standard. Now **** off back to your lower league relegation **** infested board.
Fully agree Watford, I also agree he played for it but the insinuation by Redknapp and Neville that Ramires dived was wrong. If that was Rooney or Welbeck they aren't saying that's a dive. It's a shame relative impartiality in sport has gone, there was time where pundits could look at things relatively neutrally but it's all geared towards the viewers now.
I cannot wait to listen to Keys & Gray on Talk5hite, tomorrow. Ex Sky Sports, of course. They are so pro-United you'd have thought they owned the club. I wonder what excuse they will have for United losing 4 points to us, this season.
All channels biased towards Manure, even ITV! 25 Man Utd games have been live on TV already this season with only 8 not being shown. The next 5 are live on TV as well (6 if they beat Foolham in FA Cup)!
I wonder why UTD are on the TV more than anyother team..... ..... I will tell you, more people want to watch them, so advertisers will pay more do learn a bit of basic economics.
"We all know Sky and Newscorp are pro-United but pre-empting the Super Sunday clash as "Payback" already shows a clear bias and allegiance to both away teams" It was the same last season in the reverse fixtures between City and Spurs and Arsenal and us but nothing was said
Grey and Keys will be on the phone to SAF right about now sobbing there hearts out contemplating suicide blasting evil corrupt Chris Foy for a ridiculous 3 minutes of injury time.

Whoa, a bit paranoid and immature. All I said was they were for the biggest clubs i.e. United and Liverpool. I'd put Chelsea on a par with Arsenal just about nowadays, not that it really matters. I don't think he knew he was going to score at all. In a split second he may have thought the chance was more difficult than it was or that getting the goalkeeper sent off as well as winning a penalty was the best option, if possible. He's made sure there has been contact- nothing wrong with that and probably the most professional thing he could do. The referee should have sent the keeper off in my opinion if he decides it's a foul. Honestly, no need to be so childish, either of you.
Intelligent response. Cheers lads. If QPR were comfortably mid-table would that make it ok for me to comment or do I have to make an account called WatfordBlue and then make the exact same points which you'd agree with half the time because you're that pig-headed?
Well when we were last season after beating you you were still incredibly bitter for weeks and months afterwards so that's probably not it. Far more likely you're just a bit of a tit. If you really don't like other fans commenting, why not use one of the plethora of Chelsea only boards out there? I suppose it wouldn't give you the chance to meet like-minded potential masterminds like Oz, though you're so similar you're quite possibly the same person.
