    I remember when it was Lambert - or any previous NCFC manager - that used to come out with soundbites like this. It shows just how far this magnificent football club has progressed in 2.5 seasons <ok>

    Oddly enough I was listening to that interview when you posted this. Nice to hear from the AVB, also nice to listen to an interview as opposed to a rant - cough, cough, Warnock, cough, cough <laugh>

    I thought he was brilliant as was Ayala, but i don't think much credit was paid to naughton although he has got a lot recently, but i hardly noticed sturridge for the whole game I think naughtons pace and anticipation was too good for him and playing a right footed player at left back was helpful due to his tendency to drift in on left foot. The whole defence deserves credit mind as the only player who looked a class above was mata.
