Sky Sports understands Bristol City and Bournemouth are chasing Stevenage midfielder James Dunne.

Stevenage boss Graham Westley has previously admitted he is planning to be without key men Dunne and Lucas Akins, admitting the pair 'have both been watched by serious clubs.'

Bournemouth are thought to be interested in 23-year-old Dunne as they prepare for life in the Championship, while Bristol City are also understood to be interested in the former Arsenal trainee as they aim to bounce straight back to the same division.

Dunne is in demand after a sparkling season for Boro this term, scoring six times in 45 appearances and earning the Player of the Year accolade.

 

He's 23 so could happen!

Another good player. We were linked with him a few weeks ago, Well someone said on the transfer rumour site that we were going to get him. Wouldn't mind us putting a bid in. Player of the year for them I think.
