Is this just an upgrade for a day? Anyone know for sure. I have Virgin Media and I don't know if it works on there.
If its for Now TV then you can get either a week or one day, it's not Sky specifically but it uses their services. Pretty decent if you don't fancy fannying around with streams or get a deal or freebie. You can watch directly on the Now TV and various consoles I think but I don't know if Virgin Media has an app or service for it
Pretty much any device with a web browser can use NowTV - PC, laptop, tablet. You buy a Sky Sports Pass - day, weekly or monthly and just choose when to activate it. Day pass is £7, week £11 and I think £32 for a month.
I used this last weekend and probably will again tonight. I streamed it on the PS4 which was nice and easy. Yes it's just a one day or one week thing. Also, pringles apparently have a code for a free day pass on them at the moment so a few quid can be saved.
Yep I used it before I got Sky as fiddling with streams used to do my head in. Found the quality decent but with my Karoo sponsored internet I can only watch 4 hours before the quality goes tits up so very reluctantly got Sky for the golf and cricket
NowTV is sky. If you already have a sky subscription it's cheaper to upgrade to sky sports for a single month than it is to buy a now tv day pass as sky currently have a deal on. The upgrade is instant and you can request them to cancel it after a month at the same time, took me less than 2 minutes on the phone last weekend.
Now TV works a treat on PS3 and I have a rubbish broadband connection. Bought a week pass last Saturday morning so covered both our matches. I do feel dirty giving money to Sky but the temptation to avoid buffering was too strong for this week.
Downloaded the app and paid for a day pass. I just do not watch that many games, only City and so sky has never had the appeal for me.
