And fortunately we have a pretty good success rate against them...

I just wish we were in a position to go out and spend a couple of million on an established quality defender.

Don't want to be too naive here, but if that is what it'll take to get you up that table challenging for the honours, why doesn't your wealthy benefactor Mr. Lansdowne assist in this direction?

I know throwing money at it doesn't guarantee anything (look at us <doh>), but if that is a common consensus, can't he help?

I've mulled over this more than once Sparkey believe you me. We've still got some dross defenders left over from Coppouts 'reign' on good wages and they will be hard to shift. I also believe that if we didn't have the problems from the treehugging, lentil eating, kum by yar singing, selfish NIMBYs, and we had the go-ahead for our stadium then SL would have factored this into things and made more funds available. He's always stated that he wants BCFC to finance itself in the main, and our stadium is vital to those revenue streams. I'm hoping that these two things coincide and we can shift the deadwood, plan for our new stadium and then have a real go at it.

Ive been looking around the oxford forums they seem to rate the kid and describe him as being strong and good with both feet, He also singed a pro contract at chelsea as a kid so must have something about him.

I read somewhere that the stadium protesters really need to appeal within 1 month, otherwise they will be viewed by a judge as just being obstructive.

    Thats next thursday.

I haven't heard any whinging lately have you?
