I've been reading a lot of ill informed pish about SKY having a guarantee that there will be 4 OF games a season and if Rangers get relegated (or similar) then SKY can cancel the deal and everyone will lose. Has anyone at SKY said as much? The only Guarantee SKY asked for is "Exclusive" coverage of 4 OF games a season, it does not necessarily follow that SKY had it written into the contract that Celtic and Rangers must be in the SPL for the contract to be honoured. More scaremongering for the masses (sic) I suspect unless anyone has heard otherwise?

As the deal stands, don't Celtic and Rangers get a bigger share of the pot than the rest? That being the case, if Rangers go tits up and end up having to start in the 3rd division would that not mean that our share would get bigger? Or would the other clubs get a bigger share?
Yep, that's the way I see it. We would maybe get more cash ( i don't care one way or t'other personally) but the diddy clubs would gain out of Rangers absence.

Dev, sorry for not seeing your instructions earlier. However, I have checked carefully and you have no authority to tell me where to post or what type of posts to post. I don't know how you could come up with the idea that I don't think there is such a thing as a "decent" Rangers fan, you know that is rubbish and I never said that. I may have hinted that they were hard to find and even more so on this forum. I never said theses decent Rangers fan s were bigots and I resent you trying to put me under pressure. Of course some of your special mates like Mende, Trevor and Gambol are as bigoted as you could fine but you seem fine with them, and I suppose its hard to blame you its the company you used to keep. I think to be fair the other clubs should get the SKY money between them. Try and create a more level playing field which would ultimately be beneficial to Celtic. I know it's just a drop in the ocean but once Rangers are out of the equation we have to look at improving scottish football. On the other hand if Rangers share went to Celtic, talk about putting the boot in
Vast amounts of money have ruined football as a spectacle and created an imbalance on all levels and we will never see "smaller" clubs like Ipswich, Dundee United et al doing well in Europe and challenging in domestic competitions. It saddens me that money talks in football nowadays to a horrendous extent. One of the main reasons why I fell out of love with the game. And a major factor why crowds for the non old firm teams are dwindling and will continue to dwindle. In a strange way, not initially, it may actually benefit scottish football if Rangers either fold or get relegated. The old firm are obsessed with getting one over the other and this would obviously disappear and hopefully no more young scottish talent will end up sitting in the stands at Ibrox. I mean it's no coincidence that Scottish football was at it's healthiest the last time Rangers were on their knees.
