It seems that this doesn't make any difference to some fans who say they will still protest on boxing day. Dalman asks for that not to happen, but the lure of league 2 or admin is too great for some and they won't be happy till we are in one or the other.
Let's hope any banners on boxing day are along the lines of 'one club, one team' or 'together we are strong'. Give Tan the chance to make the right decisions going forward. If he doesn't then let's have the demonstrations but give him the chance first.
Just trying to clarify a few things, did anybody get a copy of the email that VT supposedly sent or was it just informed sources at the club. A lot of the media seem to be **** stirring and hoping some of it sticks. I try to deal in facts not rumours, half truths and white lies and so far i haven't seen anything to say it was true. All this statement says is the 2 will attempt to chat and iron out there differences.
Very much my way too Eldon. I think as close as we've got to confirmation is the clubs refusal to make this go away. I think there must have been an email. Pretty much everything else including manager names and all the he said/she said **** is all press fabrication and rumour IMO. Doesn't mean some might not be based on the truth I suppose.
The pressure is all back on Malky now...we have two home games coming up and he needs to win to show what a great manager he really is...if he loses these two games god help us. jck
My way of thinking is who the hell released a private email to the press when supposedly it was just between VT and Malky. A ****storm has been created for a reason !!!
No doubt MM is a decent manager, he has one job this season, to keep us up, not sure if he keeps playing negative stuff he is able to do that, but 15th at this stage is not to be sniffed at regardless of his style. Tan has made a few blunders, unfortunately they have been big ones, is it because of false information though and a case of shooting first then asking questions? Tan can recover this situation if he desires and get the recognition he craves, along with the success he desperately needs. To keep both and hope they work through any differences would be the best for all concerned, but if Malky keeps his style of play and don't get the points, ala Palace, then Tan will not be the only one wanting him sacked.
An email was sent but what did it say ? no bugger knows what it said just went with the BBC informed sources report. There is so much more to this and we are being treated like mushrooms !!
The wording was tricky to be fair. They can't say Mm has till the end of the season, or his contract because 6-7 bad results, he'll be gone and everyone will agree with the decision.
well neil kinnock has been qouted in saying that he read the email and it contained 7 pages of diatribe from tan so there you go.
