I was curious about Big Brother when it first came out.

I thought it was a reworking of George Orwell's classic novel "Nineteen Eighty Four". <laugh>

It only took a few minutes to realise what an astonishingly crap programme it was.

Had I fallen asleep watching Star Trek, and been beamed by Scotty to some far flung planet, that civilisation hadn't yet reached? The outskirts of Cardiff even?

Millions of empty headed numpties were tuning in to watch numbingly boring nonentities do numbingly boring things like smoking a cigarette,or even making a cup of coffee,or just sleeping.
Mercifully,we were spared toilet visits, but perhaps they were yet to come.

The programme had gripped the entire nation, showing just how far down the evolutionary ladder the viewing public had plummetted.
Eastenders is classy by comparison, almost educational, innit?

All these years later, after subjecting the nation to a bunch of ordinary, everyday, common or garden numbskulls,we now have celebrity numbskulls to brighten our empty lives.
And there's lots of them to call on.
A never ending supply of overpaid, over-hyped, ass wipes.

Now, where's Scotty when you need to be beamed off somewhere, even to the outskirts of Cardiff. <laugh>
