Sky & BT have secured the broadcasting rights to Premiership football from 2013/2014 season till 2015/2016.
Sky will show 116 live games and BT will show 38, the total deal being worth £3.018bn.
ESPN have lost their rights to broadcast live games and will no doubt leave the Sky digital channels from the start of the 2013 season.

Amazing amount of money for live football, to be shared between the clubs involved, we really need to be there.

When he reads this in the newspaper tomorrow morning I am sure that Uncle Ken will be crying into his Coco Pops.

If only he had not sold Gradel and Howson to fund his legal cases, then he could have been getting a share...

I've just realised that Sky & BT have paid a staggering £3.018bn for the tv rights to live Premiership football, an increase of £1.773bn from the previous agreement. If this is given to the 20 clubs per season, then that's £50m each season.

BBC reported premiership clubs to receive an extra £14 million each per season, I guess the rest is an increase for everything else including parachute payments.
