During October the mighty Gills managed a staggering 2 points from 6 league games, we only got knocked out of the EFL Trophy on a technicality (Millwall scored more goals than us) we would have kept 7 clean sheets if the opposition didn't keep scoring, yet Sky Bet in their infinite wisdom have not bothered to nominate Jed as a manager of the month candidate, it must be a fiddle.
gumpygit Sky didn't want Gills to suffer the 'curse' that comes with such awards - look at what happened to Brackley after their manager won their divisional award - shocking display at Gillingham - threw away a 2 goal lead and enough chances to win - just because they knew they could get some TV money for the replay.............................................anyway -- I think that Sky's voting panel are all American - they haven't got a clue where to put their X ( a bit like our deliveries into the opposition half ).
