How's he getting on so far for you lot? JET has been impressive so far and scored a very good goal today for us. please log in to view this image
If today is anything to go by, Skuse is one hell of a free signing! Very very happy with how he played today. Keeps the ball/ challenges well, everything we've been lacking in CM. Did JET run around much!?
Good to see Skuse is settling down well. Both players needed a fresh start and hopefully we both get to see the benefits. Not sure where JET was playing for you but SOD has him just behind our striker in a 4-4-1-1 and he's impressed. Set up the first yesterday then was involved in great build up and took his goal well. So far he's been a great signing. Hope our trio of players have a better season with you than they did with us last season Good luck
JET has the potential to go all the way to the top. I was dissappointed when we got rid of him because I like players who have you on the edge of your seat and he certainly has bags of ability but I see why Mick got rid. Think SOD could be the type of manager to get the best out of him, he's already realised that his best position is behind the striker, which niether McCarthy or Jewell ever realised!!
Can you please go away, we don't need to know how creative he's being.... we clearly don't need his creativity in our team
Not sure Guru, He played a couple of weeks back in a under 21 game and I didn't think anything come from it and he went back to you but Monday he again played for the u-21s against reading. We're losing Adomah now and we only have 2 recognised wingers at the club so there may be something for him here. Would he be alright at this level?
When he first came on the seen, he looked very good, he and Wickham were in the same team and quite a few people rated him higher than Wickham. Myself I thought he was the best young winger I'd ever seen at the club (mind you we haven't been blessed with wingers since I've been watching) but after an initial very very promising breakthrough he's all but dissappeared from he face of the first team. Apparently the year after his break through he came back after the summer in poor shape and since just hasn't been involved. Again perhaps a manager like O'Driscoll could get the best out of him, SOD reminds me very much of Burley actually in his management style and persona.
" Would he be alright at this level? " Echo the above comments, a properly fit/ interested Carson would be at a top 10 Championship side either in the lineup or as a squad player absolutely no problem whatsoever. Were you at this game ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbqAiWQD90Y The goal aside, Josh Carson was absolutely immense that day, both defensively and attackingly.
He wasn't a player who would get injured all the time and have little niggles that would keep him out for a game. More of when he got injured it was usually a bad one.
