No we wont miss him imo. He had a decent season 2 or 3 years ago but since then has been on a par with the rest of the regular mid fielders.......average at best. Lets start the clearout with the old gaurd if we have to. If its gonna be a fresh start then make it a bloody fresh start, not the time for sentiment now SOD.
BTW, its a balmy 76 degrees on Sunday night here in Key West....time for a pinacolada or two me thinks!

No time for sentiment on any of our players because they clearly didn't get the job done for us, and if I hear a single one of them moan that they think they deserve Championship level football I will scream. Does anybody know what we got for him?

No doubt he will start the first home game for them with a thump on the badge and a commitment to do them proud. Hope there is a lot more to follow him soon.

It's 25C here caldicot and the beer is just about to flow at 7:00 p.m.

Thanks skuse. You'll be missed personally but ability wise you wont. Easily replaceable.

Very very few of the players this season will be missed when they depart, and Skuse is no exception. Just a shame that a hometown boy could not come good, but his halfa dozen a season good games are far outweighed by his poor games over the last 2-3 seasons.

He will only attract a lower half Championship club, so a Barnsley, Millwall or Charlton more likely as doubt he would chose to go up north (who would???)

Skuse is a good lad and is a reasonable player.

However we need value for money, and I don't see him winning us enough points to warrant an expensive (in League 1) outlay on wages

    Good luck Cole

Central Portugal at 28°C yesterday and going to be warmer today.

As for Cole Skuse, I wish him all the best, but as others are posting, we really do need to gut the building totally, disinfect it, re-plaster the walls and have all new furniture in place by early July.

Otherwise, the stench of failure will continue to pervade around Ashton Gate and Bristol City FC.

Shiny, no idea I will ask the wife for you. Apparently you can but it is way behind, my wife watches Emmerdale via YouTube but she's not fussed about the others.

Been a bit depressed on the footie front mate, and have not felt like wasting my time. Over that now, onwards and upwards.

Shiny; I am certain that there are better ways to spend your time in Australia than watching that sort of pap. As Supcon says they are shown but some months behind UK.
Try surfing, jogging in the outback and kangaroo riding, it's much more exciting. And you'll be spoiled for choice of sports with Aussie Rules, Rugby Union, Rugby League, Soccer, Cricket, Tennis etc.
Have a break from BCFC and crap British soaps.

You're off to see the world and you're worried about missing the soap's <laugh>

Skuse needs this new challenge, he could go on and improve himself. To me he became to comfy here and needed to be outside his comfort zone. I have a feeling he will be back in his former years.

You may remember that I posted a thread on Cole Skuse a few weeks ago as he has been linked with a move to us for a number of weeks now. I just hope that we are getting a quality player for our midfield. Any more information that you can provide on him will be good.

As I said at the time I am very sorry that you guys went down as I have always had a lot of time for your club. You don't derserve to be in League 1 and I very much hope that you come straight back up which I am sure you will. <ok>

If you're looking for a goal scoring midfielder who will affect a football match, you're looking for the wrong player

But if you're looking for a midfielder who sits infront of the back 4, makes the odd tackle here and there he's your man

Neil Kilkenny is just the man you're looking for, a leader of men who can organise a midfield but above all leads by example.. thirty quid, no add ons..?
