I know it's probably gonna cause much laughter by many..... But we need an experienced goalscorer who can bring on the youngsters like Noble and Wickham and chip in with a few goals... Personally I think SKP could still do a job for us in the short term, and his experience would benefit the youngsters no end.. Or am I just delirious after yesterday??

I think he may come back to the club in some sort of role in the future, but not as a player...

Probably work as a player coach, then used as an impact sub like Brum did with him last season, so not too delirious mate.

He's still popping one or two in for Blackpool. But whether his family want to move this far north is doubtful. He was asked when Quinn first took over, and turned it down for that reason.

I like the idea of him coming back as a player coach.. He's certainly not lost his knack of finding the back of the net and he is 100 times the player bendtner is, even with his advancing years.. Plus he knows what it takes to play at SOL and for us fans..

Too late. One of the greats but we need a new SKP not the old one.

Booed off at the La Strada when he was 16, I was there. :p
We were all shouting out the punchlines to his jokes.
Don't think he would be interested in returning. :)

Id love to see him don the red and white again, what an amazing striker we had and to be still talked about and some fans want him back at his age shows you a) the impact he had and b) the lack of firepower we have now.
I think Martin will want a bigger man up front though to hold up play better for the runners of which we have a good few. Wickham could be the answer but i would imagine MON wanting more experience up there as well.
