    Two goal scorers, clinical and predatory.

    Barely won a thing between them, one League Cup for Phillips, Defoe has never touched a trophy. Mental.

    That is rather mental. I'd have expected more medals than that..., although Kev did get his golden boot. I'd defo have SKP at his pomp over Defoe as a finisher, footballer and fellow.

    SKP every time, but without NQ he was not quite as effective.

    That's a better question that it appears, for sure we all love Phillips and is a legend at our club BUT Defoe was the best youngster in my opinion I ever saw at out place at West Ham, I thought boy, he is destined for the top??

    Further amazing for the pair of them, lack of caps for England.

    Both probably admired throughout the football fraternity

    Philips IS our best goal scorer ever fact, and defoe where was he today ? Rowell and Pop robson were better than defoe.
