I thought when he got the managers job at South Shields he would have been kept busy trying to get himself settled in to his new job and we would not have heard him commenting on virtually everything at SAFC . It would appear that he has everything under control as he continues to give several updates a day about everything at SAFC which has nothing at all to do with him , he started off one update by saying I have to be careful what I say - that being the case why say IT! SKP is a legend of our past and now has no relevance but is still cashing in on his links to the club . Time to move on and get on with your new job rather than sticking your nose in as we have enough problems of our own .
Well tbf if reporters keep asking him about Safc he’s Gona keep talking about us. can’t see the issue tbh.
He sure could but like I say can’t see the issue with him answering questions it’s not like he’s going out there just to put his point across.
Only issue I have with his comments is its clear he pays little attention to our affairs. As seen by his KLD is fortunate Donald is sticking around as he is young and will need his guidance comment.
That's true mate, just as we all have the right to say what we think about his comments. TBH, if I were a Shields supporter I'd soon get tired of it if results didn't improve. He has a good academy, on his doorstep, so should think before he speaks ... ... criticising the Sunderland manager wouldn't endear himself when he needs a loan player.
As I said on another thread some an Mag player "and expert on all things NE " living in the USA was pushing for SKP to be given the managers job on Total Sport , on the day when everyone knew it was going to be AN , when told this by "Pridey" , he then advised whoever was manager, should appoint SKP as his assistant as, as an ex-player, his knowledge of how the club operated would be invaluable to a new manager. Media circus.
An ex-player who has showed no interest in the club since leaving, until he realised he could cash in on being who he is to us! From what I see on Twitter the media would be better going to Sleeves for his opinion. Seems like he watches games and keeps his eye on what is going on!
You would think he would have plenty to be getting on with. He will know less than the local journos, and as the last year has shown us, that is a canny bit less than some on here.
