Pompey are currently six points off the playoffs and six points above the relegation zone.

Is your glass half full or half empty?

Mine is half full - always! <ok>

The question is........... will we start by falling a little before climbing up the league again? There have been some very mixed messages from the WBA fans, they seem to be split on MAs tactical ability.

Whatever, we will be safe in the championship this season - I have no doubts about that.

I'd suggest that it's half full, Dev. Of Shandy.

I couldn't give a flying **** how the under 10's got on. Not really too bothered about the game at The Resevation in Dec, it's just another game. All that matters is promotion, oh and relegation for the Blue Few. Having witnessed so many wins against you, we're a bit blase about it.

Bertie Wooster impression. What absolute rot, LD. If the result were reversed, you'd be hectoring us, like there was no tomorrow. Sound foundations, seeds of doubt, etc, etc...

(I typed this, with a big smile on my face)

Not only a win for our Academy team (with one of their players - Mugabi - sent off), BUT also a win over the Stains under 16 side as well <ok>

Must admit, I've never heard of "The Resevation in Dec" - is this code for yet another 4-1 stuffing ?!!

Sad, Sad, Sad poor little Duckyboy...........<laugh>

Returning to the OP, and ignoring the duck fight, I think that your glass is neither half full, nor half empty.
No, your glass is actually full, but from a bottle purchased in a supermarket with a label which gives the country of origin but sadly no indication of vintage. ;)

Ours is a bottle of the finest champers, channon, don't you know <bubbly>

Yours is most likely a bottle of nasty cheap plonk - probably an awful Polish red from Lidl, at £2.99 a bottle :emoticon-0105-wink:

Mine is half full - I always look on things from the optimistic side of realistic.

With regards to alcoholic metaphors, the problem with champagne is that when it is overflowing (as Duckykins alludes) it has a habit of bubbling over so much you end up less than full, whereas, with a good vintage port, decanting it at a more steady pace means you don't spill any on the way and you are left with all the contents intact!

After many, many intelligent & thoughtful threads on many issues over a period of time, you have allowed yourself to be dragged to a pitifully low level by a load of poor wind ups.
    You seriously disppoint me
