The coalition said it had also organised what it said it expects to be a massive demonstration on July 5 in east Belfast. âIt is proposed that a number of civil rights parades and demonstrations will be organised in a number of loyalist towns across Ulster on the June 17 and 18,â the group said in a statement. âWe call on anyone willing to take part in or organise one of these demonstrations in their local area to do so legally and ensure that all parades and protests are properly organised and notified therefore leaving the PSNI with no excuse to demonise and vilify the loyalist community.â The coalition said it is expecting that demonstrations will take place in Newtownards, Armagh, south Londonderry, Mid-Ulster, Bangor and the Sydenham area of east Belfast. âIt would be the hope of the coalition of loyalist civil rights groups that each and every area will play their part on the day and hold a legal and peaceful civil rights march and protest to highlight the human rights abuses against the PUL community,â the group said. âIt is a perfect opportunity for all Protestants to come out and take part in a legal and dignified show of disgust at how the PSNI have treated peaceful protestors and abused their human rights and perhaps catch the attention of the world leaders who will descend on the province.â
The right to be bigoted ****s. It's like racists complaining about Political Correctness because they can no longer call a black man a '******'.
People have a right to be bigoted and racist in a democracy. Everyone is allowed a voice in a true democracy. And that's a fact. No-one begrudges you being a pretendy pikey and lover of an Oirish football club in Scotchland. Them's the breaks.
It is unbelievable - being allowed to trample on the human rights of others because the commumnion they take is consecrated in a slightly different way (so slioght many people couldn't really tell the difference) and they pary for the pope rather than the queen is not, in itself, actually a human right.
