    And it begins....

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...Lyons-Nabil-Fekir-open-to-Emirates-moves.html

Moussa Sissoko, the Newcastle United midfielder, has admitted he "loves" Arsenal and that he one day hopes to play in the Champions League.
The Frenchman, who according to the Daily Star, is being tracked by Arsenal scouts, told L’Equipe: "When I was young, Arsenal was my favourite club. I’ve always loved this club, I still love them.
"I have ambition. My goal is to play at the best clubs, playing the Champions League, win trophies, but today I am a Magpie and I am very happy.

"I have an agent that takes care of that. If something should happen, it will happen."

We would miss him badly of course but to be fair we can't expect to keep a player once they reach the level he has. We'll have to accept that and try to use the money to improve.

Indeed he will but if we get big bucks he'll reinvest some in the summer. Is what it is, I got used to it all a long time ago.

To be fair though to Sissoko he was just a stop gap whilst Jonas got himself better!

    A 5ft 5 tricky but weak centre-midfielder?

Might be a great signing for Arsenal though.

He is 100% honest in saying that. We have absolutely NO ambition other than to remain in a 10-17th position.

Wouldn't we all want CL football?

As long as Ashley screws Arsenal for £15m+ it would be good business.
Abeid can play his role of needs be.

I don't want Abeid moved from the sitting role alongside Colback personally. They are ideal together. We'd have to replace Sissoko.

I just wish players would shut the fck up and get on with it. For me personally things like this just destroy any sense of fun associated to the game, we're always on the cusp of being reminded that it's a lucrative job and nothing more to these people. No sooner do we enjoy a performance from Sissoko or a goal from Perez than we're reminded how big an Arsenal fan the former is, or how Real want the latter for their C team, and that he's C.Ronaldo's biggest fan.

The whole thing might as well be the NFL. It might as well be all "college" run, with then a super league of "CL" clubs (though not CL clubs from Holland, Greece, Portugal, Scotland, Belgium, etc.) who enter a draft system every year. We're sort of doing that, with everyone except about 8 clubs being feeders for the money, who can keep buying the cream of the competitions crop to ensure they remain in the elite. How the whole system is justified is a fcking mystery to me.

I think that wenger will be interested. He would do well there I think. Shame as we will miss him. Our style has kind of developed around him. Fear it would have a similar effect as when cabaye left in that we might look a bit lost for a while.

I don't think arsene or his stock holders spend over the top. I doubt the payout would be that big if we sold to them.

Must admit haven't seen much of the fella but he looked a great player against us on Sunday, your manager would be mental to let him leave without at least getting someone in who could fill that void.
