Can't find the old transfer rumours page we used to have stickied...

Kenny was at the Toulouse - Montpellier game tonight, it's thought he was taking another look at Moussa Sissoko - someone we looked at last summer. Would be a great central midfielder for us along side Lucas and wouldn't cost too much.

Hopefully he's looking at some Montepellier players, too. Like Lille last year, they're (potential) league champions, but not a 'big' club, so their players will be affordable (Cabaye and Sow, both great players, went for under £10m.)
Belhanda (AM, 22), Giroud (CF, 25) and Yanga-Mbiwa (CB, 22) are all potentially fantastic.

Belhanda looks a decent player, for the right price it would be an educated risk for sure.

From what I've heard about Sissoko, he's abit like a Vieira type player. Big and strong, runs about alot, can defend and can attack. Alittle bit of everything, which is needed for a CM.
There are alot of good young French players at the moment. I think alot of them are just coming to the forefront of football because of the debacle that the French National team has recently been through, alot of old players not being moved on and having too much power. Many of these players should have been seasoned internationals by now if it werent for the past generation hanging on.

From the title I was expecting Mohammed Sissoko. Where does he play now? I was a fan of him.

Giroud would be overpriced this summer, I think there's alot of interest in him. We did look at Sow last summer/January, I think, so maybe we were taking another look. Would love Sissoko though, not much attention on him at the moment.

I havnt seen this guy play, but from what your saying, it sounds promising should we sign him.

I feel we need some one creative, with a good drive to play next to Lucas, but who is stronger, better defensively and more refined than Adam.

Today we are being linked with a loan deal for Affeley from Barcelona. Could be a smart move.

    More scouting ahead this week:

Bilbao V Zaragoza will be watched, it's thought we're looking closely at Susaeta - although Muniain remains a top target for the summer as well.

Looks like our scouts are picking up on the work in the last few weeks before the end of the season.

Higuain is practically nailed on to leave Real Madrid this summer with them trying to raise funds to buy Cavani. Absolute quality player, would be a similar cost to Soldado who we're heavily linked with - 25mill or so - but would be hard to tempt him without CL football.

Pretty sure he was watching every player on the pitch, if you go focusing on one player then you are going to have a pretty narrow pool

I'd love to see Sissoko in the premiership, a bit lika Yaya Toure from what I've seen/heard. Him and Lucas together would be very difficult to get past, I think their styles would compliment each others very well.

The premier league could be very entertaining next season with Marin and Podolski set to join, Hazard and Kagawa looking like they're on their way, and hopefully some others from the Bundesliga and Ligue 1
