Northenders and football supporters everywhere. SIR TOM FINNEY. Today Tuesday the 5Th of April 2011 our Club President Sir Tom Finney, will be celebrating his eighty ninth birthday. Sir Tom not in the best of health is still the avid supporter of all things PNE that he always has been, and that is covering a very long period indeed. A life long supporter of his one and only club and one of the last (if not the last) of footballs all time greats. I am sure you will join myself along with many others in congratulating Mr Preston North End, on reaching yet another milestone in his life and his long and illustrious footballing association with our famous club PNE and the football world in general. I am sure that his most welcome birthday present would be to see his beloved team take all three points against Reading tonight. let us all hope that PNE can gain championship safety and make Sir Tom a very happy man.
