Diagnosed with terminal cancer. Just been watching him on the cycling coverage. A great Olympian and such tragic news
Just been announced by Sir Chris Hoy that he has terminal cancer and has between 2 and 4 years left to live. I'm shocked and saddened by the news, a top sportsman, one of our countries greatest ever as well as being a genuinely decent man as well.
Terrible news added to it that his wife has just been diagnosed with a serious illness also at the same time. Horrible for the whole family
Terrible news for his family and friends. Bastard of a disease and just indiscriminate. Thoughts are with him and his family.
Sad news .Great sportsman and person. Just shows that even the fittest and healthiest aren’t excused by this b*stard that is cancer.
Such sad news, met him a couple of times n he's a top top lad Thoughts with him n his family at this time
I got my arse fingered again 2 weeks ago, all OK and PSA level stayed the same. Great news for the family
Aye, a mates wife got bowel cancer last year, she got the all clear and just after he found out he had bladder cancer. They're both doing well now thankfully, but they've both been through the mill. One of my cousin's had a major op for pancreatic cancer. He's done well but had complications recently though thankfully no cancer. I told him he was brave, I'm a geet fanny when it comes to getting cut open. He said he was too. But the pain was so bad he just wanted it to go away, so the operation was small fry. Something that really winds me up is a lack of sympathy towards people in these situations within workplaces. Boils my pìss.
