http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...dy-to-rebuild-his-Manchester-United-team.html He's the best at rebuilding teams. He's done this throughout his 25 years.in 2005 When Chelsea won it, he rebuild united and won the league three times in a row, im not saying if we will win the league three times in a row again but he will rebuild our squad and we'll be stronger much stronger, i know some people doubt's us and say we're in decline and all that but as long as we got Sir Alex, we are in safe hands, we won't be in decline, he's been here for 25 years and rebuilds team after team, im sure he'll rebuild united and make us much strong next season. In SAF we believe!
I don't think anyone considers United's "decline" to be related to Ferguson's abilities, just finances coninciding with the old age of Scholes and Giggs. If you had the money and players were available to replace these (and maybe soon, Ferdinand and possibly Vidic due to injury) then no problem. But take players like these out of a team (or continue to play them with diminishing returns) and of course it will be a "decline" in overall quality.
United will crumble, maximum of two more seasons in the top four. Slur Alex should have quite while he was ahead last season, never going to get the chance to go out on a high again.
I was told by many an ABU that Man Utd would finish outside the top 4 this season. How has that worked out?
United have declined over the past 4 years, there is simply no point denying it. I am a huge admirer of SAF, peerless Manager & one of the greatest Leaders in modern history. If anyone can rebuild United, he can. Trouble is, he is now facing an opponent that will simply outmuscle him, he cannot overcome the threat City pose, only the owners could do that, and, well let's be honest, they won't.
Write us off but under Sir Alex we will get stronger, he knows how to rebuild and he will rebuild us, he is the best man at it, he's been rebuilding teams again and again in his 25 year stay here and he'll do it again, many people call us in "decline", we're used to it, when we lost the league to Chelsea in 2010, everyone said the same thing, we're used to it, we'll carry on what we've been doing in the past 10 years, proving everyone wrong, City might have money, a lot of money but we got Sir Alex, as long has he's here, we won't be worried about it, as long as he's here, we are safe and in good hands. He knows what to do. In SAF we trust, as long as we got him, we're good, no need to worry about any problem City causes, we've been in this situation many times, Sir Alex knows what to do.
The unfortunate difference from your point of you is last time you had 2 of the best young footballers in the world, and a world class up and coming defence, aswell as scholes and giggs at more respectable ages. Im not silly enough to write you off - but replacing those players takes financial clout and there is simply no denying that city can outmuscle you for any top player that wants to move to the north west. Whatever you offer them city can offer double. If they are premier league champions aswell i fear for you. Again if anybody can do it its sir alex, but it is looking ominous for you...
Sorry just realied you said 2010 in reference to chelsea - but the original point still stands - I think even the most hardened of UNited fans couldnt but agree that your title winning team last year wasnt a patch on your title winners of 2007/2008/2009. Those teams, whilst extremely talented teams overall, would not have had the beating of chelsea were it not for world class indivudals. Such individuals now you will have to fight city for...
but we believe in Sir Alex, he is the best man at rebuilding, he knows what to do, like i said before as long as we got him, i won't fear for ourselves, we are safe, Sir Alex has been in charge for 25 years, he'll know what to do. we believe and we trust Sir Alex and we know Sir Alex will change things and rebuild united. He's done it many times and he'll do it again. Replacing Giggs and Scholes is going to be an tough task, almost impossible but Sir Alex will rebuild united and we will be stronger next season. We will always be challenging for the title, i don't have any doubts about that because we got Sir Alex.
i know where your coming from but Sir Alex is up for the fight, he even said in the press conference yesterday, he's ready to face Man City's challenge and we will never go away and he will change things around and rebuild Man Utd and he will.
we'll see about that when that day comes but at the moment he's not going nowhere and he said that he would never leave us if we're struggling. Plus he said he will still be a member at Old trafford even after he retires so he will be there to help.
There are still gems out there and City can't buy everyone. Afterall Ronaldo was not the finished article. I don't fear the challenge, but you are saying it as if it's a waste of time even trying! If United are going to struggle with City's challenge then so is everyone else, difference is that we do still have the income streams, fan base and prestige to attract top players and to suggest otherwise is folly.
Actually Chelsea have been 25-30% ahead of us in wages for some time now: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...re-than-manchester-city-on-wages-2204789.html City may not even catch up to Chelsea this season, what with the large squad Chelsea have and the fact that may of City's players are still on relatively low wages compared to the squad players at Chelsea.
