Sir Alex Ferguson to axe De Gea

Greetings, folks.

Today, I intend on discussing Lindegaard's tremendous ability. I would also like to address De Gea's limited ability which may lead to us losing vital points that can make a huge difference at the end of the season - to be precise, he has conceded six goals in all competitions up until this point. Disgraceful!

What can I say about Andres? He was handed his first start in Europe last night. I'm absolutely proud of Lindegaard seeing as he pulled off a great performance in front of 59,671 supporters on his debut in Europe. In all honesty, Lindegaard pulled off several top-class saves to prevent Benfica from adding additional goals to their first-half goal.

Lindegaard is something of a perfectionist. I am pretty sure if he continues playing the way he has in recent games, he will not face competition from De Gea as he is nowhere near him in terms of ability. De Gea suffered a poor game against Man City and let in a soft long range shot during our opener against West Brom.

We cannot hand a young keeper a massive opportunity for so quick as our world-class players like Nani and Rooney will be effected by this in terms of having to accept embarrassment. To be honest, I would honestly opt for Arsenal's Szecseny to feature for us against Chelsea if I had the option to.

Next on the agenda for us is a home match at Old Trafford against Chelsea on Sunday 18th September. After a delightful initial taste of European football for Lindegaard, I would rather opt for to start in goal against Chelsea on Sunday to be honest. If not, I envisage nothing but a disgraceful loss at home.

Also, for those of you who are wondering about Berbatov not featuring for us at all this season. I have heard rumours that he has been assured that will receive game time at some point as the season wears on.

As an outsider looking in, I think that the performance from Lindegaard has put even more unnecessary pressure on De Gea now.

Maybe SAF is testing how mentally strong De Gea is, as a mistake from him in the game against Chelsea, especially if it costs you points could destroy his confidence massively.
