I doubt we will hear much about Ayala until late in the month or until Liverpool sign another defender. I think Wilson and Shelvey will go to Blackpool as part of the Adam deal leaving Liverpool with Carragher, the Greek and Skirtel as main CBs and doubt they will want to over do them early on. I think we are also waiting on raising finance for the deal, be it in someone leaving us for a fee, or a big chunk of wages money becoming avalible
All this speculation over Ayala is pure wishful thinking, you will just have to wait and see. Imo, I suppose we would like him to come but we are no longer desperate.

Preston have already rejected a £1m for him from Burnley and it looks like Newcastle might be after him now, he's definitely worth than McShane and I think a Man United loan is more likely.
No. Actually i was thinking that PB may have come back for him as Macca is his boy afterall. But i read that PNE have taken Clarke Carlisle from Burnley on a season loan now.
Treacy's worth 4 McShane's, especially given that Macca is on at least double his wage. How about Jason Puncheon? He'd be relatively cheap and did well in the PL for Blackpool last season.
Agree on Puncheon mate. And also agree on the ability of both players. But Treacy was part of a relegation team. Its just a punt IMO, but if city were to make up Macca wages instead of a transfer fee that may just swing the deal.

I really thought we would have signed Ajose on loan from United, Keep looking on Red cafe for any gossip but nothing really. Cant see us getting Pogba, not with us singing Mckenna, Ravel Morrison would suit us more attacking midfield. they have a young dutch winger Van velzen whos been impressing, might be a bit too young for the championship, physically hes big enough, but aint sure hes quite ready, Fergie likes to start them in lower leagues before testing them in the championshiop.
