    Under the present regime and the present practices it’s hard to disagree. Not buying players, selling players and loaning players is exactly what Sunderland did and it caught up with them big time.

    He's spot on. The sad thing is that Captain Ashley will be the first in the lifeboat and we will be left to sort out the mess.

    As it seems that Ashley listens to Charnley as in Charnley got Ashley to attend games again
    Is it worth turning the heat up on him
    To challenge Ashley into doing something positive or should Charnley not man up and resign his position as he has no influence on Ashley whatsoever and is merely a SD sock puppet

    He’s getting paid a 6 figure salary. Where else would Penfold get a 6 figure salary? He’s never going to stand up to Ashley.
