Brief match report for you AWAYINBC. We scored and then defended for the rest of the game. How they did not score I have no idea whatsoever. I could not watch for the last 10 minutes which took about an hour to pass. We were absolute pants for most of the match but somehow hung on for the most valuable 3 points in a long time. I do believe we are now safe with only 4 matches to go.

Thanks for your report..i don't know what is worse..reading the game or being there..mind you if i lived back in Plymstock i would be at every game.

Two things i really miss..a good pint down the Plymstock or Elburton and Argyle..

I assume those pubs are still there.....

It doesn't matter HOW you win. As long as u win. Do you remember a few weeks ago when I wrote that the hairs on the back of my neck stood up at Swans matches at the end of the season??? Now you know!! Every game is a cup final. For us it went to the very last game - and we were 2-1 down. That is stress!!!!

8200 - a good crowd and it is about time the Argyle fans came out for the Club.

You either want Football League status or you don't <ok>

PGFWhite we have known the stress bit for several seasons now so trust me it is nothing new. Everyone I have spoken to since yesterday has said the same thing. The football was absolutely bleddy awful but the 3 points is all that matters and they and I are happy with that. We would love it if they played attractive football and won an easy match but as that has seemed most unlikely for a while any victory will do. I do think we are done and dusted right now without another point this season. The way Argyle are they are just as likely now to go on a run and get another 9. Teams are so frustrating aren't they.

Never be sad when your team goes on a run of wins when it doesn't matter!!! It ALWAYS matters!

Going back to the stress. I remember talking to my brother as we were leaving The Vetch after beating Cambridge or Mansfield when we were at the foot of Div 4 (with a few games left) and we both agreed that this was REAL football. You can forget your Man U and Chelsea fans worrying about not winning the Champions League. Real stress/elation is when you survive relegation from Div 4!!

Performance counts for Sweet FA. 3 points is King <ok>
