I don't wish him ill, but it doesn't bode well. It wasn't a last minute move but somehing that had been going on for weeks. Sort of suggests his place within the squad? http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footballnation/swanseacityfc/swansea-city-fc/2012/09/01/91466-31741207/
Bloody hell how can you go to a team without even speaking to the guy you'll be playing under ? Just shows how much in their plans will Scott be, I hope he spoke to their reserve team manager
Isn't the loan window still open for the championship? I can see him loaned out somewhere if so. Let's see what his mrs thinks of Peterborough
Perhaps he can`t understand him, I have trouble with him! P.S. I think Brighton might do quite well now they`ve got two of ours.
I'd love to see Brighton do well, in fact I'd love to any other 2 championship sides do well too...unless they play in red
I'll take that valley, Brighton, Blackpool and maybe a promotion for Dave Jones with Wednesday just to rub it in
"Fede Bessone and Andrea Orlandi completed moves to Brighton while Leroy Lita is set for a loan switch, with both Birmingham and Crystal Palace interested in the striker." Wrong!!
Had to laugh when he said something about looking forward to playing against Real Madrid. He genuinely thinks he has a chance.
It was a bit cheeky of him to say something like "I'm glad to be back at world class club again". I know we're not quite in the same bracket as City but it's a bit disrespectful none the less imo. Good luck to him and his missus though.
I agree. Scotty really thinks he's something. I suggest he watches the footage of his performances last season - predictable and ineffective kind of sums it up. Even Lawro recently said he's not as good as he thinks he is.
That "world class" comment struck me as a bit off as well. I'm not deluded about our standing - We stay up and we're happy - but it did smack of "I'm glad to get away from mediocrity" rather than respecting the fact that we're the only club he's done anything for.
Best of luck to him but it is plainly obvious that citey have only bought him so he can sit as a home grown player in their squad, and therefore on the bench but i suppose the 60 grand a week will help with the disappointment of it, but as swans we have to ask ourselves would he have been doing the same with us for a lot of this season but for far less money. I also suspect that come January he will be back at Wigan on loan. And Rosie will be reminiscing about the Gower Coast
Yeah, I was disappointed about that "world class" comment. Well citeh might be world class but he certainly isn't.
Good ****ing riddance. He'll never experience as much success as he did with us again. If there was a bookie who took that kind of bet I'd put the house on it. Will be playing Championship football soon enough and still be getting paid well with each move because Managers and Chairmen will say; "if he can just get his Swansea form back....". It will never happen and he will be forgotten about.
After a severe bout of amnesia, Sinclair has opted to quit buoyant Swansea – playing some lovely football under Michael Laudrup – to join Manchester City in a £6.2m deal. It’s probably safe to say he’s not going to be the first name on the teamsheet at the Etihad. In fact, it looks like he’ll slot rather nicely into the vacancy left by Adam Johnson. You know, Adam Johnson: the English winger who’s currently singing of the joys of moving to Sunderland to play regularly!.......................
