Both were available on loan and we missed out on Sinclair and now Lennon's off to Hull. Why weren't we interested in either of them? We've been crying out for some pace to inject some life into this plodding team. Redknapp's transfer policy is truly baffling.
The sentiment is right but to be fair how do you know we weren't and wasn't just a case of not choosing us?
Probably because we couldn't afford either. Reducing costs & getting whatever we can from sales is the order of the day.
I rather fear we've tried for a whole range of players who do not wish to come to QPR. It will be like the fateful day that Barton and SWP signed at (literally) the 11th hour.
To miss out on them we would have to have been in for them in the first place which we weren't. We missed out on Bony then, for example.
But Harry's admitted he's been told he can only get in loans. We've just offloaded Mutch so surely the savings on his wages could go towards a couple of loans
My point is why weren't we in for them? Harry's been banging on about getting some loans in and yet wasn't interested in either. So once again, we're down to whoever we can get at 11.50pm tomorrow night
As usual, lastminute.com and if we miss out on any targets that could be seriously costly. It's likely we'll have a choice of expensive leftovers...
A young up n coming striker, defender, winger from League 1 or Championship. Oh wait, for that you need a proper scouting system and the prospect of getting some game time. Not going to happen with us!
Possibly because Villa got Sinclair. If we're an unattractive proposition, Villa must be even less attractive. Same sterile approach, six matches without a goal. Only 11 all season. Yet they asked and got him. Has he ever played for Spurs? Has he ever played for Harold? Nobody has told us but I think the silence speaks volumes. Everyone we're linked with, Harold talks about. He's never mentioned Sinclair. Hull have more ex-Spurs players than we've ever had. They are all first team picks there. That probably is more important to him than supposed loyalty to Redknapp.
Any up and coming player can't choose us we have no system Missing out on Bony? That is itself tells you exactly how far a QPR fan thinks today ... The dream we were sold looks very daft currently TF is already admitting he is the problem on Twitter The buck stops with him ... His words at least he gets respect for that Looking like going exactly like Caterham ... All talk
Where is TF admitting that on Twitter? If you are talking about his retweet then that is just your interpretation.
Lennon's having second thoughts about Hull, his goal ratio is pretty poor actually 1 goal every 10 games.
I don't know what salary Mutch was on, but selling him may have saved as much as £1.5 million. That may be to go towards the FFP fine. A loan for players like Lennon would probably involve a loan fee plus higher wages. Perhaps as much as a £3 million outlay. That is not a saving! Anyhow, today will tell us.
