    After West Ham's draw yesterday, I just caught a glimpse of the bright lights of the Premiership....then I realised I was waking up and I was hungover as ****.

    Actually CBK we have had it so good, if not better. In the 80's under Lawrie Mac, with players like Mick Channon, Charlie George, Keegan, Shilton, Nick Holmes, Danny Wallace, David Armstrong to name but a few - we were one of the most feared teams in the land. Maybe we are on the verge of those days returning....I think Adkins is every bit as good a manager as Lawrie Mac, and we had Lawrie Mac to thank for those days - and we have the finance to back it up, so who knows?

    I agree, but you have to live in the here and now and as it's a theme for today on this forum to appreciate what we've got NOW and for fans to do their bit to help the team in the final 10 games.

    Unfortunately for me, I wasn't around then. The last time I remember things being so good was when we were in the FA Cup Final, finishing 8th in the Prem, getting into Europe. Unfortunately that was rather fleeting and since then it turned rather salty rather quickly...

    Love it and really enjoy watching Southampton at present. I know there were a few ripples of frustration yesterday, but on the whole everyone is behind the side and are patient enough to know our fitness levels are good and we can break any team down.
