Why can't our club release a statement about our new manager without Tan using childish digs at a previous manager?

He really lets us down with practically every statement made.

Good luck Russell. I think you are going to need it fella. <ok>

Tan feels he was butt raped over the cash. He needs to get over it! I am sure he has more.

He really does need to forget about Malky for his own good though. As stated, it sounds childish at the best. He should have focused on Slade and only Slade.

When in reality it would be like me giving you 100 quid and asking you to get me some expensive shoes and you coming back with a pair of F&F Tesco ones for me.

"After all, Cardiff gave a chance to a mediocre manager from Watford and he took the Club to the Premier League. I did however give him a lot of money to spend for that – in fact, too much money."

What's wrong with that - don't you like the truth?.............<laugh>

Agreed Bob - it's about time Tan shut his gob about the Mackay saga - he's doing himself and the club no favours at all. <ok>

His refusal to move on is classless at best.

Good luck Russell, you've got a massive job on your hands.

We could be like our little brother down the road.

Boring, predictable and being good little tenants to the council with the only scandal being a training ground dust up.

No, give me the continuing soap opera that is the City every day of the week.

Tan has said on many occasions that the main reason why we secured promotion was because of the money he invested. Recent events have shown that spending money is no guarantee of success. Indeed as matters stand we are replicating Wolves in their season following relegation from the Premiership. By now Tan should realise that money and success are not mutually exclusive but his recent statements suggest he still doesn't get it.

Hang on a minute, problem here - good little tenants usually pay the rent.........<laugh>

To be honest, I'd take their success this last 10 years or so the way they've done it (apart from not paying the rent <laugh>) any day of the week.

Unfortunately, our problems became a lot more extensive to solve than theirs were in 2002 without going down their double admin/CVA route ourselves - glad we didn't despite the s**t we're being put through right now. I'll stay on the rollercoaster as well Nin. <ok>

whoops - the guy will never learn. He seems to believe his money can achieve anything. It'll certainly help rather than having bugger all in the bank with begging bowls being put out, but I agree, it takes a lot, lot more than just money.

You guys probably saved more money conning an owner than Swansea saved from administration , a least we did things in the front office rather than in a backroom sparky.

Right on cue Breezy - I can see you'll never let me down.

You knew nothing about Swansea back then pal - wasn't you supporting Liverpool from the Yukon at the time we were throwing coins in buckets for the Swans?

You started it sparky , should have kept your mouth shut ...lol.If Cardiff borrowed 24 million in 2004 with interest on it building till 2013, you would owe more than 50 million .Same if Langston invested il under normal conditions , they would have more than 50 million earned .Langston got 15 million back , you guys saved 35 million by backroom tactics , while others in administration had to start from scratch... Leagally. Did Swansea save 35 million from administration .

I'll say one thing Breezy - you're rarely offensive to Cardiff over here. Keep it going pal - most of us don't mind your stuff. <ok>

Tony Petty and Mike Lewis were great examples of how to run a football club weren't they?

Where Swansea got lucky (call it what you will) is that they had local men who had relatively deep pockets to bankroll a club in the lower leagues (the investment was not massive as it would be now as their outgoings were low wages for players and rent to their landlord).

They just happened to hit pay dirt when sneaking into the Premier League through the play offs. Fair play to them thereafter for staying there and investing well in players and in particular managers. Other little clubs like Reading, Blackpool, Burnley etc failed with only really Hull in recent times replicating their "success" in survival.
