http://www.racingpost.com/news/hors...g-to-run-in-neptune-at-cheltenham/995466/top/ SIMONSIG will run in the Neptune Investmentment Management Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, rather than the Supreme. Trainer Nicky Henderson told racingpost.com at Newbury on Saturday: "It was a difficult decision but after talking it over with Simonsig's owner Ronnie Bartlett we've opted for the 2m5f race. I hope we've got it right!" Henderson added: "Barry [Geraghty] worked Simonsig yesterday and schooled him this morning and all went very well." Geraghty had expressed a preference for the Neptune and said on Saturday: "He's a very talented horse over any distance but I just felt the longer trip will help his jumping at Cheltenham. I'm very much looking forward to the ride."
Well that's that cleared up ......................... now we just need to know where Boston Bob is going
Maybe they should think about horses only being entered for one race after February 1st. With a large fee, should connections change their mind.
It certainly doesn't help the ante post punter - backing a novice hurdler "early doors" is fraught with danger
