We could do much worse than this lad for left back. For those that do not know he is the Denmark left back and plays his club football for AZ Alkmaar.

I thought the lad looked good in there first game against Holland and interested to see how he gets on now against Portugal, he is a big, strong, quick lad who likes to get forward, at 27 he is entering his best years and for me as I said we could do much worse.

A player that has really stood out for me is Denmarks centre half Simon Kjaer, was on loan at Roma from Wolfsburg last season, probably out of our league but would love him playing for us. The sort of next level centre half that we could do with if we move on any of our three centre halfs who are about to enter the last year of there contracts.

Just watched the game mate and he does look good how much do you reckon? Kjaer looks okay as well maybe try for a loan deal don't know much about either to be honest but, seem decent defenders.

Looks a decent player Poolie, re Kjaer, he's very good, and he's better with the ball than what we have.

I mentioned yesterday, but I am so, so impressed with Gabri Selassie, the Czech right back, still based in the Czech league and surely worth a look, strong, quick, powerful & a massive threat on the attack.

The lad looks primed for a good move.

We need competition at right back so I hope MoN has had his eye caught by this lad. MoN said he doesn't like the idea of signing players on the back of good international tournaments but said he would not rule it out as he did it at Celtic and the lad he signed done a good job for him. If he is still playing in Poland he will cost a couple of mil tops probably, is he just a young lad or played a few year now?

Even when Russia ripped them, the lad looked a class act, 3 of the Russian goals went down the left.

just checked out his info on the net

he's called Theodor Gebre Selassie, 25year old and plays for Slovan Liberec

first black player to represent Czech Republic, his dad is Ethiopian

think he would be a gd bit of business for any prem club by your take on him mate, he will probs only cost a couple of million and worth a gamble

Only seen him twice Poolie, but he looks a proper athlete, I reckon he'd be quality.

Really good on the ball, like I say, proper wing back, and like you say, wouldn't cost the earth so if it didn't pan out, we'd be ok.

I think Jack Hunt at Huddersfield will be a very good player. Still a little raw but Christ what an engine bombing up and down the right flank. Would love us to go for him, think he could be the pick even including Rhodes.

We have no chance but the left back who has really impressed me is Jordi Alba of spain... Quick, good on the ball, strong tackles and loves the overlap and valencia atm and rumored to be moving to man u,chelsea (as coles replacment),arsenal, real madrid ect...
