Apparently we are monitoring him at Brentford (Source from inside the club). Don't really know much about him, but he's young and he's 6ft +, which is what you want.

Not another young keeper, why can't we get someone with experience. I know iv'e said this before, but we don't want a keeper learning his trade,in our goal. Not in a promotion push.

I think it'll be more to do with being 3rd/backup choice under whoever the number one is. I can't see Oxley being here beyond the end of the season, he's nowhere near as good as Jakupovic or Amos. But this Moore lad looks alright.

Would have thought he'd prefer to carry on with Brentford, rather than our poor reserve team fixtures.

It could be with a view to a summer move. Finish the season with them, Amos (end of loan) and Oxley go in the summer and we have him and Jakupovic as keepers for next season?

If were planning to use Jakupovic,as a no1 or on the bench next season,i would have thought he would have been first choice right now ? Unless were playing Amos just to keep AF happy ?

The keeper situation is an interesting one, Manonne and Guzan have both improved and got first team football after spending time with us, so our coaching staff must be doing something right.

We'll be monitoring loads of players, doesn't mean we're necessarily going to move for them in the next window, or ever.

Not that I'm shooting Tommy down, it's interesting to know who we're looking at even if we don't sign them.

Spot on. Like I said, we're just monitoring his progress, as we are with Nick Blackman at Sheff Utd. It doesn't mean we are bidding for them. If we went up, Id enquire to Udinese about Matej Vydra, who's currently playing at Watford. Looks like a young Koren!

Unless Bruce just rates Amos as a better player at the present

    No he's a striker.

Myhill's out of contract in the summer, so expect us to be linked with him continually for at least the next six months.

There is no doubt that Amos is going to be a talented keeper but he is costing us goals and for a goalkeeper that is not a good thing! I think Jakupovic should be given a chance in a first team game.

I see what your saying but maybe what all the coaching staff and Bruce have seen is that Amos is better

But Jakupovic hasn't been given a chance so they cannot compare the two keepers.

Jakupovic has been capped internationally for a half decent country, plus I think he's played in Europe so there's no doubt he has the experience. I've watched him in the warm Ups and the reserves and he pulls off some remarkable saves, he definitely has good reflexes, but his kicking does let him down a tad. That said, his distribution is quick and clean, which is what you want if you are looking to counter.

Distribution is where Amos really gets annoying. He's a good shot stopper and all that, but when we need that bit of urgency to get a counter attack going by throwing it to Rozzie or Elmo making a run down the wing, he holds onto it for 4/5 seconds. He normally kicks the ball to the opposition or off the field too...

When I've seen Jakupovic in training, I've thought he was much better than Amos in most areas. He doesn't get International caps and European games for being ****e! He looks commanding, makes some great saves, gets rid fast, but as you say, kicking seems to be his only downfall. However Amos is ****e at kicking too so it can't hurt giving Jakupovic a game surely?

I'm really starting to believe that Amos is first choice because Fergy demanded it. If that is the case, then i can understand it really,Manure have been helpful to us. Let's not blow a good relationship with them. It's frustrating though.
