Heard that Kjaer is on Laudrup's hitlist, quality centre back who Wolfsburg want to offload, under-rated imo - however Roma, who had him on loan last season, are taking another good look at him, and so are the evil lot up on Merseyside, could be available for £6-8mill. What do you think lads, we need another decent CB and he seems he can fit the bill. We've got money, just a winger, CB and striker to come in imo

Yes I'm impulsive. Thank god I'm not the manager. Would fit the bill imo.

    He's honestly not that good.

Average player, did well in Italy (his first spell in Italy that is).

Major disappointment at Wolfsburg and had a huge fall out with Magrath - and still won't reconcile (so probably trouble).

Roma didn't take the option to sign him permanently.

Has a lot of errors in his game, not the strongest or the quickest to make up for it. Would struggle in this league, I imagine.

You never know, he could turn out all right.

He suited the tempo of Serie A, it brought out his good qualities - playing the ball out and so on.

We've been linked with him every summer for about 4 years because of Agger - who carries him a little internationally.

NI..... Roma are looking at him again for another season's loan or an actual deal, he'll never play under Magrath again so he's gotta go somewhere... still a top quality player. If I was Laudrup I'd snap Magrath's hand off for a deal for him. Rodgers is a known fan of him.

    Oh, really?

My understanding was that Burdisso and Heinze were the centre-back pairing, Heinze recently said he was happy to play there.

But I couldn't say for sure, maybe you're right. They certainly turned down the chance to activate the buy-out clause of the loan deal.

Wolfsburg want to offload - therefore, not good enough for us. £6-8m?! for that money I'd want Caulker back.

Kjaer may be worth a punt on a season's long loan. I wouldn't buy him outright.

Perhaps Huw could secure an option to buy at an agreed value?
