I was thinking more about ourselves, Blackpool have been bought by Simon Saldler a local lad who now heads up a Hong Kong-based hedge fund Segantii Capital who's assets are in excess of $1 Billion. They could be one of our main rivals if they give Grayson a bit of cash.
My mate just told me they are in for borini I said which daft twat would buy a player when they haven’t got a manager then I thought Oh! Just a minute
Good luck to Grayson...Not my first choice in any way when he got the job with Sunderland. But the guy comes across as an honest hard working manager and when he was appointed by Sunderland he was never ever going to get a fair crack with what he had to deal with...he deserved much better.
I thought Blackpool were half decent last season, some big lads who tried to play decent football and Grayson could get them as a real threat for the top six quite easily.
Any team in this division that can spend 500k and above will put themselves in contention for promotion so if Blackpool spend a bit this window you'd have to fancy them to be one of the main challengers, this season.
