Evening all, Anyone have any news on Digger's injury ? I remember that he had issues with a knee injury and that he was going to be out for ages. News was though that he may make an early return in November. Physioroom.com suggests he may be back by the end of November. I hope that he gets back, fit and healthy as soon as possible, he could be really good in Jol's set up, dare I say more suited than Duffers. COYW
I have no idea when he's back, but I think we've really missed him. His crossing would have been useful at the weekend to give zamora and AJ something to work with, one of our most underrated players in my opinion.
Indeed we miss him. I think he adds the width we need and certainly some speed... And coming into the team just before the Christmas season when we need fresh legs!
Will be back towards the end of November, a sub appearance against Arsenal on the 26th may be a good target to set himself.
He's one of my favorites, but I think he'll find a place in the side hard to find, unfortunately. Duff, Dembele and Kasimi would all seem to be ahead of him in the pecking order, under the current configuration. I actually life Davies on the right. He crosses the ball better than any of the aforementioned players.
