Hull City supporters have proved in the last few seasons that they know how to get their voice heard. In the 'Bubble Match' away at Huddersfield the actions of our fans embarrassed West Yorkshire Police and in doing so gained the respect of other supporters all around the country. Then the organised actions against the Allam's name change plans resulted in defeat and humiliation for the owners leading directly to their decision to sell the club. Now we have a manager who supporters seem to unanimously recognise as being capable of taking the club up to another level, yet his contract is apparently only for 6 months. That means after glimpsing what could be possible for our club, we will be right back to square 1 looking for a new manager in the summer. We need to do everything we can to hold on to this manager and his coaching team because there's no doubt other clubs are already circling. So what can be done to get the fan's voice heard again? Songs? Banners? Petitions? Any ideas?
Please... Let's see how he is doing in 4 months before wetting the bed with excitement now! If he does as well as you think he won't want to go!
If Silva continues the way he has started his agent could easily have any number of offers in 4 months. You also said; "If he does as well as you think he won't want to go!" Why? We're Hull City not Barcelona!
Your point is good... he could be snapped up. But that's football. That bit is not in our gift... My point was it's too early to suggest he has to be kept!
Fair enough, but clubs like City sometimes have to take a gamble, whereas bigger clubs have the luxury to wait and see.
I'm sure I heard this just before Silva was confirmed as manager .... 18 month contract with an opt out after 6 months if relegated. Or was I dreaming.
If he manages to put up with this circus until the end of the season, he'll be gone if we stay up or go down. What kind of **** gives out a six month contract?
But Ehab likes to plan long term. He said so in the Yorkshire Post. Surely he wouldn't lie to us, would he?
If Pulis could get a £2m bonus in 2014* - I wonder what Silva's might be for Prem Survival ? *That he then lost it in a court case https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/nov/28/tony-pulis-crystal-palace-appeal
