Zlatan Ibrahimovic - experienced proven centre forward for a season or two on a free. Eric Bailly - don't know much about him but appears to be a decent prospect and we need centre halves, if a tad expensive. Henrik Michitarian - right side attacker, very much needed. The missing link in attack. Can also play at 10 apparently (can't they all!!) but will hopefully be a good deal more flexible than our previous purchase from Dortmund in the similar position. All good, no complaints. Add Pogba to that and we'll be flying.

One of your strong points last season was that team selection was fairly consistent and brought about a strong team spirit. With more midweek matches this season there will have to be bit more rotation. I don't really know much about the players you have bought but you have to hope that Ranieri has checked out their fit into the team ethic as well as their skill levels because as we have seen, fractures in the dressing room can have serious repercussions
Ibe to Bournemouth for 15mil is crazy money Hopefully we'll get our money back on Benteke too. All good so far. Happy with what we've got. Matip is a steal. One I'm hoping is pushed through now Ibe is going is Ante Coric. Seems very likely tbh.

12 months ago Livpl fans were saying the exact same about Sterling going to City for 50m and how the youngster Ibe was now ahead of him. It's poor show writing off your youth after 1 season.
It's 1 player Treble. Sterling wasn't our youth, we bought him from QPR. Even Ibe joined us when he was 17 so he's not out and out academy. Ibe is good and will be useful to Bournemouth. We've potentially made a 60mil profit off 2 players that aren't what we need. Happy days.
You have to make an assessment on youngsters the staff feel he's not good enough so he moved on. Nothing wrong with that it's not like he wasn't given a chance.
A chance? One season? If that's all young players get to prove themselves at any club then that's stupid. Young players develop over time with good coaching. The step up from reserves to 1st team football isnt easy. The way LFC are going you're not going to build anything other than what you buy in.
