Anyone else just sometimes just enjoy some peace and quiet? No noise, nothing. Maybe just a read, or sit and chilli. I'm around people all the time, and it's usually hectic, sometimes i just want to sit back and do **** all. No big daft TV, no people, no nothing, only sound i can hear it the heating, may get a knock on the door about a smart meter though.
Yes I love it Night time quiet time is different to daytime quiet time in which I enjoy listening to subtle background noises coming from the slightly ajar window Something serene about listening to Life whilst your just chilling on your bed
Listening to the birdsong now. And the traffic, obviously, cos this is London. I love being one of the first people awake in my corner of the city.
Every Sunday I get up, get a cuppa and sit in the living room with the dog and read for an hour in silence. I like getting up before everyone so that is quiet.
Mate, I walk past a little cardboard city on my way in to work every day, no joke. This is what happens when Tory ****s are in power. Sorry, I know this isn’t the politics thread.
Yep love it. Lucky enough to live in a place where I can experience true quiet, without the background noise of cars, industry etc. True silence is quite deafening is a strange kind of way.
Same. Get up before the girls most morning to get my head together and go for a run or do some yoga most days
yeah, it was a ****ing tune Heaven holds a sense of wonder and I wanted to believe that I'd get caught up when the rage in me subsides.
We don't live in a society where silence is valued. Everyone is a self important gobshite thanks to the likes of Katie Price and Kym Marsh. Any ****ing waste of space thinks they have something to say these days.
