If you going..get there in time and take a moment to reflect...

Sunderland AFC will once again continue the tradition of observing a period of silence at the last home game of each calendar year, in memory of fans and former Sunderland players and officials who have passed away this year.

The club invites both home and visiting fans to remember supporters who are no longer with us and also pay tribute to those former Black Cats stars and loyal club servants who have passed away in recent months.

Former players Bill Holden, John Fraser, Tommy Wright, John Goodchild and John Parke, along with former manager Jimmy Adamson and club vice president Bill Beadnell have all sadly passed away this year.

The period of silence will take place just prior to kick off at Monday's game against Everton and the club kindly asks supporters to take their seats early in order to ensure that it is observed in the appropriate manner.
