Brendan Guilfoyle,Peter Ridsdale and Bishop International have all signed on the dotted line, the deal is done.

So the one million pounds exclusivity money has that now been paid ? It doesn't get mentioned very much up front does it,or do PAFC have to wait until they come out of administration before the Shrewsbury game.

Peter Ridsdale should now be paying is one pound purchase money to Bishop International for PAFC, meaning that Heaneys phantom buyers bill is reduced to £999.999..........for a building plot.

Peter Ridsdale then surely will have to invest his own money into his club, more investment could then come from say two new Directors obviously chosen by Ridsdale.

This is the "show me your money" moment which will determine how Plymouth move foreward.

What other monies will come from Bishop International to help PAFC through this first season ?

Wasn't it estimated that PAFC would lose £2 million in this first season ?

Who did the maths on the estimated loss then plymborn? Can't say I had seen that anywhere but then have not been trawling the news stories lately. It isn't really a case of show us your money is it. The club has to run within it's revenue so no amount of money is going to improve things on the player front which is the bit we are all interested in. The only thing that can improve that is the size of the gate. I guess you could argue that the show us the money bit is whether any extra cash generated is saved and ploughed back into signings in the future or whether Mr Ridsdale decides to pocket any spare. Who knows where all this will end up but at the moment we appear to be safe which is a great relief to everyone I'm sure.

    I agree with Sensible.

It's time for the fans to ante up first.

There's no money in football - by and large, for every pound of football income £0.99 goes out in costs - or £1.99 in some cases.

    Nobody gets rich like that.

There was an excellent article on attempts to restrain spending in the Championship just a few days ago and the disastrous arms-race that develops when one or two clubs overspend. Can I find it now? No I can't.

I hav'nt time at present to track it down, but I'm sure I've read it somewhere.
