The head of Golden Boy, the mediator in this bout if you will, allegedly has it on record from a judge that Mannys promotor (Arum) has no interest in a fight with Mayweather and has been using the name of fake journalists in interviews to which he gave reasons as to why Mayweather is stalling. It seems to have crawled out of the woodwork since the Marquez fight from Pacquiaos fitness trainer Alex Ariza (also Khans) that Mayweather promotions have offered deals to Arum which gave into Pacquiaos preferred terms for fighting on May 5th, yet Arum is not interested. Mayweather has now found this out from Golden Boy and Team Pacquiao directly and appears to be offering an ultimatum.

McCloskey had the promoters worried enough to have the fight stopped at the slightest incident. Khan would last 3 rounds with manny never mind pretty boy

he has improved since then, i agree that manny would beat Khan! I just think Khan is better suited to give problems to Mayweather. Manny is too wild for me and Mayweather picks him off with ease!

pacquiao gets hit far too many times in a fight to stand a chance against mayweather. Would love to see him at least get a knock down or 2

Manny would never fight khan, as they both train together.

Manny's work rate and the awkward angles of his punches will cause Floyd problems. JMM unlike Floyd had the experience of fighting Manny and knew what was coming and set his game plan for it. Manny has walked though punches from the likes of Cotto and Margarito so will again walk though punches to get close to Floyd. But in the end I do agree that Floyd will start to get the points in the bag and pick off Manny. Also Floyd has a great chin on him too and knows how to react if he gets caught.

<doh> so dumb. Its what he HAS to use to stop his bones giving unbearable pain when he fights or trains. It offers no performance enhancing qualities and its on record from various fighters that the hand does not get numb at all. He will still feel pain far supassed to that of other fighters just slightly reduced. If you look around id say as many as 20-30% of fighters use/have used it, just that Floyd let the cameras in so is more publicised. Also im sure he had the time off between Hatton and Marquez to ease this injury, which he said has worked.
