Sean Dyche should remain philosophical as he's not the only British manager to have saved a Clubs status and then, following a takeover, get the sack. I don't imagine for one minute SD would be in the frame for the NFFC position and would suspect a more prominent appointment. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18812339
I am less surprised by this...Forest's new owners will want a big name who plays the sort of football they want to see and attract big name players.
have to say, after the outburst of warmth on Twitter over the sacking of Sean Dyche, this sacking has been fairly muted...
Is that because Watford were in such a bad place and Sean Dyche was in his first management job and was actually good?
i think it's because there were very few people who had a bad word to say about Sean Dyche, he was popular and successful, and everyone warmed to him...where as it seems Cotterill hasn't had the same impact...
Cotterill met expectations. Dyche surpassed them by some distance. EDIT: I know Dyche isn't going to get the Forest job, but I'm stunned that he's not even being given odds. Just look at some of the prats being quoted between 25-1 and 50-1 http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/nottm-forest-specials/next-permanent-manager
