http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...inst-Chelsea-is-a-crime-against-football.html I too felt nauseous watching Frankie last weekend. It was a great goal and it was 10 against 11. But did he have to go to extremes and pretend he was near to tears about scoring against his old club and depriving them of 2 points? By all means don't go hysterical and OTT but you have contributed to your team and given your team 1 point and you are allowed to feel happy for your team mates FFS.
Its the players choice. I can remember the Lawman scoring for City with a back heel the year we got relegated. Denis refused to celebrate, and I respected him for that decision. Can't see why its such a big deal.
In the article he starts bitching about the FA not banning players for wearing gloves. Guy obviously has problems. Of all the ****ing things to be worried about, obviously a very ******ed journo.
I watched an old episode of A League Of Their Own yesterday while killing myself on the exercise bike. Cousin Jamie was asked what his pet hate was and he said players refusing to celebrate a goal against a club they used to play for. I rarely agree with Cousin Jamie but I do on this occasion. If scoring against an old team concerns you so much then you should join a club in a different league. Otherwise show some respect for the club that is actually willing to give you a job. It was funny when Fatty Frank scored though!
It was tongue in cheek. Of course it is his decision. But why can't players celebrate a little bit? OK you won't expect him to have celebrated like normal. Running and sliding on his knees etc. I remember the Lawman as you say and more recently Ronaldo was quiet as well when he scored against United. But it is not as if Lampard had relegated the chavs or kick them out of the CL. He pretended to be near to tears and at the end of the match he looked so sad as if he had lost his favorite pet. The chavs players were smiling when they shook hands with him. Ronaldo was happy too to have won the match agianst United. There is simply no need for play acting. Unless you are laurence olivier you get found out and look like a prat.
lol Weeeeelllll....... Do you thnk it should be a bannable offence? It isn't giving them an unfair advantage is it? Why in the **** does it matter if they are wearing gloves. Their hands are cold! Who cares. Completely understandable in a lot of cases too, a Brazilian player, plays in Spain, then moves to England with its cold arse winters......probably not used to it.
Have I? Where abouts? I believe I told pissstain to shut up. f** knows what that has to do with me caring if Lampard plays for City or not.
