So Luka still apparently wants to go to Cheatski...so what?
He has a six year contract to play at spurs and he seems to think that just because he doesn't feel like fulfilling his end of the bargain we'll just let him go. As for the 'gentlemans agreement' he still doesn't have a leg to stand on. A contract is a contract, legally binding to both parties. An offer came in (albeit a pathetic one) which was considered and rejected, Levy has upheld his end of the deal. If we were to secure a replacement and let him go next year then so be it but we can't allow players to ride roughshod all over their contracts or there is no point in signing them in the first place!
It's time that all footballers start to show some respect to the fans of their clubs who come out and support them at silly prices and also to the clubs who invest time and money in developing their careers.
Shut up and play is what I say!
