I did not go but it looked like a pretty convincing performance and a first clean sheet so that will do for me. Clark and Cole have added some much needed pace and movement and we look to be getting the ball forward a bit earlier. It is ironic that we seem to have improved since Woods and Goldson left but it may well be we are just learning to adapt to life in a different league. We must now press on in the next two home games (which I suspect will not be easy even though Crewe and Blackpool look to be struggling) but confidence is on the up with that awful August month behind us. Same team and system again , please MM!
A very good result and the first back to back away win in league one since 2013. It certainly sounded a great game on the radio, Clark and Cole added a serious amount of attacking threat in cm, which we've missed in a long while. Clark seemed to be getting a lot of attention from their defense in the second half. Hopefully Mellon has found a successful squad, and thankfully so quickly after losing a few key players. I'll look forward to the next home game against Crewe.
