after a scintillating win today derailing the railwaymen, town are at home to mkd who as we shall see have scored the least number of goals of the top 6 clubs.
    mkd results
    ------------

    tranmere 0 mkd 1, mkd 1 sheff utd 0, mkd 1 orient 0. scunny 0 mkd 3, crawley 2 mkd 0, mkd 0 steve 1

    league
    ------

    p18 w9 d5 L4 f21 a 11 gd 10 p32

    top scorers

    chadwick m/f 6
    bowditch m/f 5
    williams m/f 3

so no strikers on form then, no pressure there then!

mkd have scored 21, behind tranny 35, sheff utd 23, swindon 29, stevenage 25 and crawley 27.
    mkd away gd 10-7
    shrews home gd 11-9

now shrews gd of -5 compares well with h/pool -21, bury -11, scunny -12, carlisle -12 and walsall -8. we must beware of oldham and pompey both on -5

i take shrews to win 1-0 rodgers att 6223, come on you shrews, breath on em. ps come on norwich sort utd out to give betaj365 a lift!

I have seen MK play a away a couple of times recently on TV and they have completely dominated possession in both games and could have had a bucketful of goals with some decent finishing. This looks a tough one as I suspect MK will go up this season. I predicted last week that we were capable of getting four points from the next two home games so I predict a 0-0 bore draw (attendance 5600) and would be happy with a point from this one.

in reality shrews have little chance against mkd. they must have a very strong m/f. a draw would be great, but with shrews tails up, morgan improving and rodgers trying to impress, i suggest gt packs the defence and hopes for a lucky breakaway.

after the reserves win at oldham and the fine win yesterday morale and confidence must be high. so i am sticking wih 1-0 rodgers att6223. but 0-0 would be just great

Hmm, very pessimistic on the score but over-optimistic on the attendance.

Come on guys - it was a Tuesday night in late November against a team with few away fans. Get real!

Probably still one of the better League 1 attendances last night - and it was remarkably warm (hat & gloves never left my pockets)!

The two family stand blocks are rarely more than a quarter full on a school night! That's always going to be a few hundred down from a Saturday crowd.
