24 hours to go, and the gulls are preparing for an overnight vintage ramble up the m5. here is hoping town are ready to take this most important match of the season seriously. i do hope there is a ****e or bust approach from the manager. 3 up front at least. good luck town, floreat salopia
Thats Yeovil's tractor Rocky, it's got their green on it! this is Torquays John Deere: please log in to view this image and here's town's staff car park in team colours please log in to view this image
we have supposedly sold around the same amount of tickets as you did for the game at plainmoor, sign of the times i am afraid coupled with tv coverage, just hope and pray we dont do a wobbler.Got valium, whisky, and spare budgie smugglers in case i dump in the ones i am wearing, these 90 minutes will go bloody slow if we are winning but bloody quick if we dont.Whatever the outcome, lets hope its a cracker of a game, with fair reffing decisions,it also looks likely that we are entering the last phase of paul buckles management time with us,if he does go,he goes leaving behind a healthier club than when he came to us,considering our poor financial resources
I'm here Ron.. Should tonights game had been a mid-season league game, I'd had said a home win by a couple of goals or so. But it's not.. I suspect Torquay will come & try to spoil the game, maybe play one man up front & try hit us on the counter attack. They have plenty of pace & unfortunately, I can see this gameplan working for them. But Salop are still very much in it..
wow as a tractor fan i am most impressed with the photos of these modern tractors. you only need an old grey ferguson up front providing it is in form to score those winning goals. i wonder if matty nuffield h is playing. i just wish i knew the technology of posting these amazing photos of various things on line. still it is nice to be a pissed old fart baffled by new technology sometimes. i take the row of blue modern tractors to overcome that charming yellow john deere, with the help of freddy the ferguson up front. floreat salopia floreat fordson major
the fleet of blue and amber new holland tractors are i believe direct desendents of fordson majors, hence the expression floreat fordson majors, - alice chalmers! or should that be allis chalmers, any way i think i know which teams town will be competing with next season. come on you bulls, prove me wrong shrews. any more tractor photos please, the ginger one driving an orange nuffield would be good
AJ in the 'quick reply' bit, the area you type in. The 6th icon is to add a weblink, 7th is for adding a weblink to a photo - this is a photo that exists somewhere else online, and the 8th link is for video in the same manner. So if you find a nice dinky toy picture on the internet that needs posting up on here get the website address for that specific picture (right-click and chose properties or use google image search and click on the full size image option). Then pcik the correct icon and paste in your copied web address.
thanks matster i will have a go one day. thanks for the photo of a young matty h astride his stride. good news is that possibly ian sharps may be playing. 50/50 chance, now we may have a combine harvester in defence. now how about the 3 up front. come on graham turner your hour has come, floreat salopia
well played the gulls, you outplayed us in both legs and fully deserve your place at old trafford . good luck. so where did it go wrong for shrews, sharps injury last week, conceding 2 goals and an inability to score tonight. what did radio devon make of tonights game. the commentatators kept referring to matt harold as a carthorse, to grandison as shrews weak link, playing like a non league player. reference made to 2 cynical fouls by ian sharps who was lucky to keep his place on the park and what of the shrews, gt has too much faith in matt harold. we had no one useful up front, wright and harrold crossed balls into thin air. until mr turner sorts shrews attack out they will remain the nearly team.
atcham - Yes Shrews were not too good but I listened to the Shropshire report and clearly as you would have expected some of the things said on Radio Devon were a bit biased.
I stood by the a fan right at the end of the match and he said that Harrold wad the only decent player on the pitch! I'd agree with Radio Devon that Grandison looked awkward and was probably the weakest link. No firepower = no goals. Story of the season.
to listen to radio devon, matt harold played his heart out building for shrews frequently outplaying robinson but whenever the lads were within 30 yards of goal it all broke down. assume good gulls defence. town will not win anything with tom bradshaws bottom on the bench. gt has this lesson and others to learn. at present i have little more confidence in the shrews next season, but this will pass. come on you shrews floreat salopia and as if the board need any more proof, change that ruddy awful badge. town will never win anything with that lenny the lion badge. when will i be believed. the campaign goes on ROLAND! 4th year now without a win. please do not put any more money into shrews without changing that ruddy awful badge as you are wasting clubs money. will you be told
