in case we do not have a thread i will do a mini thread. creepies fill a no hopers position in the league, not going up/down/playoffs.

of their last 6 games won at home to crewe, drawn 5 others, notably 2-2 at walsall and2-2 at yeovil.

i take a strengthened shrews to win 2-0. i am assuming/ hoping our marv may be benched.

3-0 eaves hat trick. league 1 survival surely nailed on. how long have we got eaves for?

bring on yeovil, shrews will piss on them from a great height.

Make sure you watch Eaves' goals on the Football League Show tonight.

From the ridiculous of Friday and today's first half to the sublime.

Eaves had a pretty quiet first half, but my word he was good in the second. Three sensational goals.

Embarrassed by a small minority of our fans, though.

Some weird idea of 'support' from some fans, admittedly Richards shouldn't have dicked around with the penalty and trying to chip it top centre is probably hardest for keeper to stop but it won't help him with a set of fans.

Eaves is here until end of season unless recalled. One more win and we will hopefully be safe so let's hope he helps out next match. Mambo looks to be turning into a good player which might end up as a signing

Let's hope so. How do you feel that the fans' takeover will go?

Counting down the days now until the 10th / 11th. It should go smoothly - but we're dealing with a real slippery critter here (Chanrai) so it's probable that there will be a couple more twists and turns before the court case ends. Either the courts will release his debenture over the ground and we will start with a fan owned club in league 2 next season or Chanrai will manage to scupper things by dragging it out until the end of the season and then we will be out of the league completely.

We are definitely going down. You should be safe to stay up. Good luck.

That was the best hat-trick I have ever seen from a Town player (and it was lauded as better than Bergkamp on the Football League show). We look to be fairly safe now and must try to finalise next season's transfer business as early as possible as well as trying to keep GT as manager for as long as possible. On the more negative side I was again ashamed to hear the abuse for Richards. Yes, he was having a poor game but he is trying to help the side by playing out of position. He is the captain and he has the right to retain the penalty taking if he wants to - I was not impressed by Eaves apppealing to the bench for the manager to overrule the captain and GT quite rightly stuck by his captain. I think that is only the second one he has missed and Wayne Roooney has a worse record than that.
