plymouth at home. at present they are without a ground, but have a reduced squad and an excellent manager.
if the green army and team make it i hope the shrews give them a huge welcome. 7 months without pay the staff, management and players deserve a whip round from the shrews to assist their journey up. i know the green army will be helping. it is very sad to see plymouth where they are thanks to the way their club has been directed over the years. gone are the days when status quo etc performed at home park. good luck green army i for one hope you make it., but please let us have a win. floreat salopi and green army
Wimbledon away on the last day of the season http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/shrewsbury/fixtures/default.stm
Plymouth are in disarray and should we beat them and take 3 more points off a Burton side that struggled last season then we'll be all set up .. for a long hard slog!
I'm annoyed. I'm missing a) The best home game(opener against Pilgrims) b) Do-able away game(Burton) c)Probably this season's best stadium(Derby) which would have been very possible
well i wonder if the pilgrims would be in this state if they have had a fans buy out a few years back, sorry i cant feel to much sorrow for them, they rolled the dice and it fell of the table...its a good opener for us because we can beat them in front of a good crowd and that can kick start our season ...come on GT...lets get some players in!!
Dangerous opponents. You only have to remember what Bournemouth achieved with a threadbare squad and a transfer embargo.
KDS, yeah that does happen and we could be caught on the wrong foot, but still a good opener though all the same
Cheers mate. No doubt it's been tough but looking forward to a new challenge in league 2 this season. Buzzing for 6th August!
